New Greater St. John AME Church

For more than 150 years, New Greater St. John AME Church has been a place of faith, family, and community in Wando, South Carolina. As an African Methodist Episcopal congregation, we are intentional seekers, sharing the love of Christ and seeking God first in all that we do. We are a multigenerational church where tradition meets today—embracing both the wisdom of our history and the possibilities of our future. We are committed to loving one another, strengthening families, serving our community, and reaching all people with the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
