The Women’s Missionary Society is dedicated to empowering women to live out their faith through service, prayer, and outreach. With a heart for missions both locally and globally, our women actively support humanitarian efforts, engage in community service, and share the love of Christ wherever there is need. Together, we uplift each other and make a meaningful difference in the world.

The Young People’s Department is a vibrant ministry focused on nurturing the next generation of believers. Our youth are encouraged to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and serve the community through exciting activities, educational programs, and mission-driven events. We aim to equip young people with the tools to live out their purpose and be a light to the world.

Our Church School Department is committed to providing faith-based education for all ages, helping individuals deepen their understanding of Scripture and develop a closer relationship with God. Through engaging lessons, Bible study groups, and spiritual growth opportunities, we strive to build a solid foundation of faith for both children and adults, fostering lifelong learning and discipleship.

The Lay Organization at New Greater St. John AME Church plays a key role in supporting the mission and vision of our congregation. Composed of dedicated laypersons, this group is committed to strengthening the church through service, fellowship, and spiritual growth. The Lay Organization actively participates in various ministries, outreach programs, and church events, helping to meet the needs of our community while fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration. Through their leadership and commitment, the Lay Organization helps to empower all members of the church to live out their faith and contribute to the ongoing work of God's kingdom.

Every Sunday morning before Sunday School, our Hospitality Ministry is here to welcome everyone with hot coffee, muffins, breakfast treats, and warm smiles. We are grateful for those who faithfully serve each week, helping create a place of fellowship, encouragement, and community before worship and learning begin.
